Packers: Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon on Week 13 injury report
Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, and AJ Dillon are among the players on the Green Bay Packers’ injury report in Week 13.
All signs are pointing to Aaron Rodgers playing this week in the Green Bay Packers‘ divisional matchup with the Chicago Bears.
Head coach Matt LaFleur said his expectation is that Rodgers will play in Week 13, despite dealing with thumb and rib injuries.
Rodgers is one of 11 players on Green Bay’s injury report ahead of Sunday’s game at Chicago.
The reigning MVP didn’t practice on Wednesday. He is listed on the injury report with right thumb and rib injuries.
The Packers’ top two running backs, Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon, are also on the injury report.
Jones is dealing with shin and glute injuries, while Dillon has a quadricep injury. Both players were limited at practice on Wednesday, but it’s potentially a good sign they were able to practice at all.
Along with Rodgers, three other players weren’t practicing on Wednesday: left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee), guard/tackle Elgton Jenkins (knee), and safety Darnell Savage (foot).
Four players were limited participants during Wednesday’s practice: Jones, Dillon, inside linebacker De’Vondre Campbell (knee), and wide receiver Romeo Doubs (ankle).
Doubs’ return to practice is hopefully an indication that he is nearing a return from injury. If he can practice for the remainder of the week, perhaps he will be ready to play on Sunday against the Bears.
It’s also good to see Campbell practicing. He has missed multiple games with a knee injury. Hopefully he will be cleared to play in Week 13.
The other three players on the Packers’ injury report practiced in full, a good sign.
Inside linebacker Krys Barnes (hand), safety Rudy Ford (wrist), and cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles (ankle) were all full participants on Wednesday, a good sign they could be available this week.
