TE Robert Tonyan: Walks

While Robert Tonyan has been a solid tight end for the Packers in recent years, he may be able to find a better deal elsewhere in free agency.

If Tonyan isn’t re-signed, the Packers may need to start over at the tight end position. They could lose both Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis in one offseason, which would make tight end one of the team’s biggest offseason needs.

S Rudy Ford: Re-signs

Credit to Rudy Ford, who has stepped in this season and made an impact. He has outplayed Darnell Savage and deserves to start ahead of him moving forward.

Ford has played in all 12 games this season but had his defensive snaps increase more recently. Ford has made two interceptions, two pass defenses, a forced fumble, and 34 tackles this season. He also contributes on special teams.

Green Bay should bring Ford back.

K Mason Crosby: Walks

Mason Crosby’s incredible career in Green Bay could come to an end in the offseason. The 38-year-old has been solid this season, making 81.3 percent of his field goal attempts and 92.3 percent of his extra-points.

But he hasn’t gotten back to his best. Also, many of Crosby’s kickoffs haven’t gone out of the end zone, leading to returns.

Green Bay may need a new kicker in 2023.

CB Corey Ballentine: Walks

Corey Ballentine has been active for three games this season and played on only a handful of snaps. Unless that changes, he’ll likely look for a new team in the offseason.
