What is the Packers’ recent record against the Bears?

The Green Bay Packers have dominated the recent rivalry with the Chicago Bears.
Aaron Rodgers wasn’t lying — he owns the Chicago Bears. It has been four years since the Green Bay Packers were last beaten by their oldest rivals.
That loss came just two weeks after Mike McCarthy was fired as the Packers’ head coach. It came before the Matt LaFleur era had even started.
Under LaFleur, Green Bay is a perfect 7-0 against Chicago.
Here are the five most recent meetings between these two teams:
Green Bay Packers’ past five games vs. Chicago Bears
- September 18, 2022: Green Bay 27, Chicago 10 (Lambeau Field)
- December 12, 2021: Green Bay 45, Chicago 30 (Lambeau Field)
- October 17, 2021: Green Bay 24, Chicago 14 (Soldier Field)
- January 3, 2021: Green Bay 35, Chicago 16 (Soldier Field)
- November 29, 2020: Green Bay 41, Chicago 25 (Lambeau Field)
Green Bay has dominated this rivalry for many years, in large part due to Aaron Rodgers. He has given the Bears plenty of nightmare moments over the years, including a fourth-down division-winner that ended their season in 2013.
It was no guarantee that the four-time MVP would be active for Sunday’s game against the Bears after he suffered a rib injury in last week’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He had to exit the game early and didn’t return.
Add in that Rodgers has been playing with an injured thumb almost all season, and it looked like Jordan Love could get the start at Soldier Field.
But Rodgers has no injury designation for this game, which means he will play. Can he lead the Packers to their eighth straight victory over the Bears?
We don’t know what Rodgers will do in 2023. Will he keep playing or will he retire?
If it’s the latter, Sunday’s matchup will be his last against the Bears. So enjoy watching him take on the team he owns for possibly the last time.
