Grading Packers’ 2022 draft: Rounds 5-7

EDGE Kingsley Enagbare: B+

Kingsley Enagbare has started the past four games for the Packers, and it’s well deserved. He has made two sacks, four quarterback hits, and 26 tackles this season after surprisingly falling to the fifth round of the draft in April.

Enagbare still has work to do and needs to become more consistent, but he has shown a lot of potential as a rookie. Not bad for a fifth-round pick.

S Tariq Carpenter: C+

Tariq Carpenter was drafted to help Green Bay’s special teams unit, and that’s where he has played all of his snaps so far in his rookie season. It remains to be seen whether he will eventually get an opportunity on defense.

If not, Carpenter will need to rely on his special teams work to make the roster in future seasons.

DL Jonathan Ford: Incomplete

Jonathan Ford is yet to play this season, so it’s impossible to give him a fair grade. It will be interesting to see whether he gets any snaps if the Packers are eliminated from playoff contention in the coming weeks.

OL Rasheed Walker: Incomplete

Similarly, Rasheed Walker is yet to play a snap this season. He is a player to develop for the future and will be one to watch at training camp next summer.

WR Samori Toure: B+

In a limited role, Samori Toure has shown potential. His best play came against the Buffalo Bills, when he made a fantastic adjustment to get open for a 37-yard touchdown.

Toure could be another good player for the future.
