New England Patriots

A question often asked is how many Super Bowls Aaron Rodgers would have if he had spent his career playing for Bill Belichick. Well, there’s still time for them to go for a championship.

The New England Patriots have a ton of cap space to work with, a little over $56 million entering 2023. So they could afford to take on Rodgers’ contract.

They would also have some room to strengthen the offense.

There’s little question about Belichick’s defense. The unit ranks sixth in the NFL in total yards per game allowed and fifth in points per game allowed.

The Patriots know how to win football games. They are firmly in the playoff race in the AFC this season and they almost defeated Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at Lambeau Field with a third-string quarterback earlier this year.

Rodgers would be joining a well-coached team that is regularly in the playoff picture, even when they don’t have the greatest team on paper.

He could be the difference that helps take their offense to a championship level. And unlike the majority of his time with the Packers, he could trust his defense to step up and make plays when it matters the most.
