Packers Week 15 injury report: Elgton Jenkins back at practice on Friday
Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins returned to practice on Friday ahead of Monday night’s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Green Bay Packers updated their Week 15 injury report on Friday.
Remember, the injury report is a day later than usual as the Packers play on Monday Night Football. Typically, players’ game status would be released on Friday, but that will instead happen tomorrow.
The Packers’ injury report remained mostly the same for Friday, although there were a couple of changes.
Pro Bowl offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins (knee) returned to practice on Friday after not practicing yesterday. He was a limited participant, according to the injury report.
The only other change was that tight end Marcedes Lewis was added to the injury report as he didn’t practice on Friday. However, it was just a rest day and not injury related. Lewis regularly gets rest days and appears on the injury report as a result.
Whether left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee/abdomen) plays on Monday night remains unclear. He didn’t practice again on Friday, putting his status for Week 15 in some doubt.
Running back Aaron Jones (shin) remained limited on Friday. His injury is something to watch, as he played a season-low 38% of the Packers’ offensive snaps in Week 13, according to Pro Football Reference.
The good news is that Jones is practicing. Hopefully he will practice in full on Saturday and be good to go in Week 15.
The other six players on the injury report practiced in full for the second consecutive day. That includes quarterback Aaron Rodgers (right thumb/rib) and wide receiver Romeo Doubs (ankle). Doubs is on track to play for the first time since Week 9, which is great news for the Packers’ offense.
The Packers’ final Week 15 injury report update will be released on Saturday.
