An early look at which teams the Green Bay Packers will play in the 2023 season.

With four games still remaining in the regular season, we don’t yet know the full list of teams the Green Bay Packers will play next year.

We do know most of them, however.

We also know that the Packers will play eight games at home with nine on the road. That rotates each season.

Green Bay was scheduled to have nine home games this season, although one was moved to London, which is why the Packers only have eight at Lambeau Field. With only eight games at Lambeau next year, it’s fair to assume the team won’t be giving up another home game to play internationally in 2023.

If Green Bay plays an international game in 2023, it will almost certainly be one of its road games.

Let’s take a look at the opponents we know will be on the Packers’ 2023 schedule.

Packers home opponents in 2023 season

Green Bay will play against these teams at Lambeau Field in 2023:

  • Chicago Bears
  • Detroit Lions
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • New Orleans Saints
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Los Angeles Rams
  • NFC West team

Some tough games on the 2023 home schedule, most notably with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs visiting Lambeau Field.

The only home opponent yet to be determined comes from the NFC West. The Packers will play the team that finishes in the same position in that division.

Green Bay will likely finish second or third in the NFC North, which will set up a home game with either the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, or Los Angeles Rams next year.

It won’t be the San Francisco 49ers, who clinched the division title on Thursday. The Packers can’t win the NFC North.

Packers road opponents in 2023 season

Green Bay will play against these teams on the road in 2023:

  • Chicago Bears
  • Detroit Lions
  • Minnesota Vikings
  • Atlanta Falcons
  • Carolina Panthers
  • Denver Broncos
  • Las Vegas Raiders
  • NFC East team
  • AFC North team

A trip to Las Vegas stands out on this schedule. Green Bay’s defense will finally find out what it’s like trying to stop Davante Adams.

Green Bay will also visit the NFC East team that finishes in the same position, and the same is true for the AFC North.

If the season ended today, road matchups with the Washington Commanders and Cleveland Browns would be set for Green Bay’s 2023 schedule.
