The Green Bay Packers enter a must-win matchup with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17 as slight favorites.

The Green Bay Packers know that two wins to close out the regular season will give them a tremendous chance of making the playoffs.

To get there, they must overcome the team that dominated them in Week 1, the Minnesota Vikings.

Minnesota has already wrapped up the NFC North title but will now aim to end Green Bay’s season at Lambeau Field.

A challenging matchup awaits Matt LaFleur’s team, but they enter this divisional showdown as slight favorites.

Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings prediction Week 17

Minnesota has only lost two of its past 13 games, but there have been some close contests along the way.

The Vikings required a 61-yard field goal to get past the New York Giants last week, and they overcame a 33-0 deficit against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15.

Part of the concern for the Vikings is their defense, a unit allowing 402.3 yards per game. Only the Detroit Lions are giving up more. Minnesota also has the fifth-worst scoring defense.

The conditions will be cold at Lambeau Field on Sunday. It’s Packers football weather.

The Vikings can still secure the NFC’s top seed, although it is unlikely. Minnesota still has something to play for, but this is a must-win for the Packers. They desperately need a victory.

That’s why I’m giving a slight edge to Green Bay at Lambeau Field.
