What did we learn from the Green Bay Packers’ dominant victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 17?

Are the Green Bay Packers back?

Matt LaFleur’s team has put together four consecutive victories, none more impressive than their 41-17 blowout win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Outside of a blocked punt on the Packers’ opening possession, they dominated throughout the game. It sure didn’t feel like the Vikings had recently been crowned the new NFC North champions.

Green Bay took a giant step towards the playoffs on Sunday. What did we learn from the win?

Packers hitting playoff form at just the right time

While Green Bay needs a win over the Detroit Lions to officially make the postseason, this team has effectively been playing playoff football for a month.

Since losing to the Philadelphia Eagles, every game has been a win-or-season-over scenario, and the Packers have risen to the challenge each time.

The Packers played postseason football against the Vikings. They had energy, played with urgency, ran the ball well, and dominated on defense.

They are hitting form at just the right time. Win next week, and the Packers will enter the playoffs red hot on the back of a five-game winning run.

No team will want to run into the Packers in the postseason.
