Packers can run the football

To win in the playoffs, you best be able to run the football.

The Packers sure can.

With their excellent running back duo of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon, the Packers can move the ball on the ground. Their offensive line is also healthy with David Bakhtiari back in the lineup.

During their four-game winning run, Green Bay has averaged 138.8 rushing yards per game, and they have scored a total of seven rushing touchdowns in that time.

Jones needs 32 rushing yards to set a new career-best in Week 18. He has already achieved the third 1,000-yard rushing season of his career.

Dillon has been a touchdown machine in recent weeks, finding the end zone six times in the past five games, including at least one each game. As the weather gets colder, Dillon gets even better.

The Packers’ ability to run the football will serve them well if they reach the playoffs. When matched up against high-scoring teams, it will help them keep opposing offenses off the field, control the tempo, and tire defenses.

To win games in January, running the ball is crucial. The Packers’ recent success on the ground has been key to their four-game winning run and could help them win a Super Bowl.
