The Green Bay Packers‘ 2022 season has been a rollercoaster ride.

From winning three of their opening four to a five-game losing streak. Now, they enter Week 18 on the back of four consecutive victories with a chance to punch their ticket to the postseason with a win over the Detroit Lions.

The Packers enter the season finale knowing one win will send them to the playoffs for the fourth year in a row.

Green Bay enters Sunday’s must-win matchup as favorites.

The Lambeau factor could make all the difference here. Green Bay has an excellent record at home late in the season.

Under Matt LaFleur, the Packers are 10-0 in regular season games at Lambeau Field in the months of December and January.

The last time Green Bay lost a regular season game at home in either month was in the 2018 season finale against Detroit. Aaron Rodgers left the game early due to injury.

On a neutral field, there isn’t much between the two teams. Detroit may have the slight edge, having won seven of its past nine games and playing some great offense.

However, Green Bay has got hot at the right time. Like last week against Minnesota, dome teams often struggle at Lambeau late in the season.

The Packers have been playing win-or-go-home football for a month, and they have plenty of experience of winning important games at Lambeau down the stretch.
