Following a disappointing season, which key Green Bay Packers players could be gone in 2023?

Expectations were high for the Green Bay Packers in September, having secured the NFC’s top seed two seasons in a row.

Few predicted the Packers would lose more games than they would win, ending in a disappointing home defeat to the Detroit Lions.

Green Bay finished third in the NFC North and now enters an offseason filled with uncertainty. The end of an era? Perhaps.

Before the Packers play their first snap in 2023, they must figure out which key players will be back. These 10 players could be gone this offseason.

Note: All salary cap numbers in this article are according to Over The Cap.

10. Marcedes Lewis

Marcedes Lewis’ blocking ability has made him an unsung hero in Matt LaFleur’s offense. It’s like having an extra offensive lineman out there who can also catch passes.

Lewis turns 39 in May and is a free agent this offseason. There’s every chance he has played his final snap for Green Bay.

9. Robert Tonyan

Has Robert Tonyan done enough to land a new deal? Tonyan finishes the season with 53 catches for 470 yards and two touchdowns.

Tonyan is a free agent this spring.

While he has been a solid pass-catcher, should the Packers look for a long-term replacement in the draft and let Tonyan test the market?
