An interesting offseason awaits the Green Bay Packers.

Once Aaron Rodgers decides his future, the Packers will have a direction. Either continue to push for a championship while Rodgers is still playing, or focus on the long-term picture with Jordan Love.

As is true every offseason, there will be plenty of changes made to the roster. Many players will leave and the team will add new talent via free agency and the draft.

Here are three free agents the Packers should be ready to move on from this offseason.

3. Jarran Reed, DT

Expectations were sky-high for the defensive line this season, in part due to signing Jarran Reed in free agency.

Reed started 14 games and was, just OK. He finished the season with 2.5 sacks and 14 quarterback hits, while forcing a fumble and recovering two.

But the hope was that he would make a significant difference on defense. Instead, Green Bay’s defensive line remained an issue for much of the season, particularly against the run.

Reed only signed a one-year deal with the Packers in the offseason, so he will again hit free agency this spring.

Rookie Devonte Wyatt impressed on limited snaps, while Kenny Clark continues to be one of the Packers’ stars on defense.

Green Bay should turn to the draft to rebuild the defensive line depth this offseason.
