Round 2 (43): Keion White, EDGE, Georgia Tech

If the Packers don’t take a pass rusher in the first round, there should be plenty of great options on Day 2. Many mock drafts have Georgia Tech’s Keion White falling to the second round, although it wouldn’t be surprising if he goes earlier than that.

Interestingly, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah has him ranked eighth in the entire draft class, writing that he “could emerge as the top defender in the class.”

Round 2 (45): Luke Musgrave, TE, Oregon State

Robert Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis could leave in free agency, so the Packers may need to draft multiple tight ends.

Oregon State’s Luke Musgrave is one of the best in a deep tight end class, and he could be a Day 1 starter in Green Bay.

“Musgrave has that all-around combination of size and athleticism everyone is looking for at tight end,” wrote Michael Renner of Pro Football Focus.

Round 2 (57): Keeanu Benton, DL, Wisconsin

Jarran Reed and Dean Lowry are free agents, and the Packers need to add more talent to the defensive line.

Wisconsin’s Keeanu Benton made 4.5 sacks and 10 tackles for loss in 12 games last season. He would help improve Green Bay’s defensive line alongside Kenny Clark and second-year Devonte Wyatt.

Round 3 (78): Christopher Smith, S, Georgia

Another Georgia Bulldog in the Packers’ defense? Why not? Christopher Smith would join Eric Stokes, Quay Walker, and Devonte Wyatt in Green Bay’s lineup.

Smith could start at safety in year one, and he has the versatility to play multiple positions, including slot corner.

“Smith brings leadership, toughness, versatility, and playmaking to a defense,” wrote The Draft Network’s Damian Parson.
