Round 4 (116): A.T. Perry, WR, Wake Forest

One thing has been very clear in the Ted Thompson/Brian Gutekunst era. For the most part, Green Bay prefers size at wide receiver. Other than true offensive weapons/returners/explosive slots, they do. This class could change things for them, but for now, let’s stick with the program in this Packers 2023 NFL Mock Draft.

A.T. Perry is a fluid mover for a player his size (6033, 195) and has the short-area dynamism to create some separation underneath. His catch radius is enormous, and he has the subtleties to his skills as a receiver to stack downfield and work into blind spots.

Round 5 (151): Wanya Morris, OT, Oklahoma

It wouldn’t be a Packers draft without an offensive line selection. The track record continues to be startling on day three of the draft, one that is tough to sustain. It might’ve happened again here though, landing Wanya Morris in the fifth round.

Morris flashed down in Mobile during Senior Bowl week, showing off the ability to latch on and drive as a run blocker, and how fleet his feet are in containing and mirroring rushers. Green Bay could have an opening on the right side, and Morris could fill it.

Round 5 (171): Ronnie Hickman, S, Ohio State

The double down at safety was going to happen, and Ronnie Hickman might be a nice pairing with Smith here. Hickman has played a ton of snaps in the box (379) and fits the run very well as a box defender. He needs to clean up tackles, but there are flashes of closing with speed in coverage and ball skills and coordinator to pick off passes.
