Packers: Top 10 moments in Aaron Rodgers’ legendary career
6. Comeback win vs. Bears with a broken leg (2018)
In Week 1 of the 2018 season, the Packers made the worst possible start. Their season looked over before it had even begun.
The Chicago Bears took a 20-0 lead at Lambeau Field. To make matters worse, Rodgers had been carted off with a significant knee injury, which he later revealed was a broken leg.
Rodgers’ toughness can never come into question. Not only did he return to the game, he led the most improbable of comebacks. Rodgers would throw touchdown passes to Geronimo Allison, Davante Adams, and Randall Cobb, leading the Packers to a famous 24-23 victory over the Bears.
With a broken leg.
5. Two Hail Marys to save season vs. Cardinals (2015)
Aaron Rodgers is the master of the Hail Mary pass, and he showed why in the 2015 playoffs. He hit not one, but two on the same drive to save Green Bay’s season against the Arizona Cardinals in the divisional round.
Facing fourth-and-20 from their own end zone with less than a minute left in regulation, the Packers needed a miracle. More than one, in fact.
But Superhero Rodgers turned up again, firing a completion to Jeff Janis for 60 yards. Simply incredible.
Then he did it again. Falling to his left, Rodgers threw deep into the end zone. In double coverage, Janis stepped up and made another play, sending the game into overtime.
One of the most extraordinary ends to a game you’ll ever see.
