By virtue of the Micah Parsons trade, a Green Bay Packers roster in need of some severe reinforcements does not have a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. This comes at a very inopportune time for both Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur.

Between the loss of some impactful offensive linemen, a decimated secondary, and a defensive line that continues to be a major source of irritation, the Packers are in a position where they need some big nmaes to immediately kick this roster up a notch.

These five players likely won't be there when Green Bay Packers pick in the second round, but they could be within striking distance if they make a move into the first round.

5 players Packers could trade into first round for in 2026 NFL Draft

5. Emmanuel Pregnon, IOL, Oregon

Pregnon is the best pure guard in this class not named Vega Ioane, and with the Packers having seen their offensive line take some major steps in the wrong direction over the last few months, moving up for a long-term starter might make a ton of sense for Matt LaFleur and this offense.

4. Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech

Hunter is going to eat up space in the middle of the defense, but he also carries with him a bit more pop as a pass rusher than many of the other gargantuan tackles around his range. With an already squishy defensive line having now lost Rashan Gary, a player like Hunter is going to be very appealing.

3. Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama

Proctor will be one of the biggest players in the NFL the second he touches down in the pros, and even though he has had some struggles with speed and more advanced pass rush moves, the physical talent and mobility combination might be enough to sell Green Bay on the former 5-star recruit.

2. Cashius Howell, EDGE, Texas A&M

Howell's poor arm length makes him a historical outlier for both NFL success and a high draft pick, but most players with his arm length don't have his rare blend of explosion off the snap and tireless motor. Howell's speed will make him a problem in the pros, and Green Bay needs pass rushers in the worst way..

1. Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

By trading up for a zone coverage maestro like Terrell, who is the younger brother of Falcons stud AJ Terrell, the Packers can instantly revitalize their lackluster secondary. Terrell is a perfect scheme fit for Jonathan Gannon's defense, and he'll waltz into this defense as an immediate top corner.
