Aaron Rodgers offers hilariously obvious advice to Bears amid coaching chaos

Any time Rodgers mentions the Bears, we can't help but still laugh a little.

This season has been yet another successful one for the Green Bay Packers, yet again without quarterback Aaron Rodgers under center.

The Packers are proving, for the second year in a row, that they are a winning organization that knows how to find and develop winning football players. Meanwhile, a certain division rival has had a rough few days.

In his latest appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was asked about the Chicago Bears and everything that's transpired since the Thanksgiving Day debacle and ultimate firing of Matt Eberflus.

"What would be your mindset building around a quarterback like that?" Rodgers was asked of Caleb Williams and the Bears' current head coaching vacancy.

"If you think he's the face of the franchise and the future of the franchise, then you need someone who can come in and work with him and connect with him on a personal level," the quarterback responded.

"I think you need some stability," Rodgers said, hitting the nail on the head.

"...hiring the right person at general manager and head coach, and allowing them to do their job with full backing from the organization," he concluded.

Hearing everything Rodgers said on the question of what the Bears need to do in finding their next head coach is quite comical because, as we know all too well, Chicago has been anything but "stable" for quite some time now.

Just scrolling through social media and reading Bears fans drowning in misery will tell you exactly that. The Bears, as an organization, continue to do things backwards and in a way they simply shouldn't be done.

So, for Rodgers to say the Bears need stability and to hire the right head coach, all while getting full support from the ownership and organization? That's rich.

It's rich, because it hasn't fully happened in decades.

It's rich ... and it's the most obvious advice one could give to an organization that, well, probably won't take it, based on recent history.

Aaron Rodgers' assessment of the Bears is hilariously contrasted by the Packers' success

It's also funny to note the current state of the Bears. They could be looking at what would be Caleb Williams' third offensive coordinator in a year's time when this season is all over with. It's yet another season where the Bears have a rookie quarterback that's seen his head coach fired -- that's three in a row, for those counting at home.

Meanwhile, for six years, Green Bay has been a model of consistency under head coach Matt LaFleur.

As it stands, LaFleur has gone 65-30 as head coach of the Packers during the exact same time in which the Bears have gone 36-59. LaFleur's Packers have had a winning record in five of his six seasons, meanwhile, the Bears have had none.

Sure, Rodgers doesn't play for the Packers anymore, but he'll forever be one. And, fans can't help themselves but listen anytime he speaks, because there's always bound to be something noteworthy.

Thanks to Rodgers, Packers fans just have one more reason to be thankful this time of year. Not only do they not have to deal with an aging quarterback that's power-hungry, but they're also not the Bears.
