It's the same old story, and Green Bay Packers fans are getting tired of hearing it.

NFL analyst and known Chicago Bears supporter Adam Rank just came out with his season predictions for the Bears. It's eye-roll material at best.

Almost a year ago, Adam Rank predicted that the Bears would finish the 2024 season with a record of 12-5. The Bears ended up with the opposite record, going 5-12 and landing last in the NFC North.

But has Rank learned from his previous delusion? Not in the slightest.

Adam Rank is too high on the Bears again, and Packers fans know it

This week, Rank dropped his predictions for the Bears in the 2025 season. He has them going 11-6 and sweeping the Packers.

If Rank was paying attention, he'd recognize that the Packers have dominated the Bears for most of the last decade. Green Bay has beaten Chicago in 11 of their last 12 matchups, with the only loss coming in a meaningless Week 18 game last season. This rivalry is completely one-sided, but analysts like Rank refuse to see it.

The Bears were aggressive this offseason, adding talent across the roster. New head coach Ben Johnson is expected to revive Caleb Williams' career. The Bears revamped the interior of their offensive line and picked a pair of dynamic pass-catchers in the first two rounds of the NFL Draft.

On paper, it looks like the Bears will be improved in 2025. But that's the story every offseason.

Before the 2024 season, Chicago was expected to take a big leap. Many analysts claimed that Williams was stepping into the best possible situation for a rookie quarterback. The Bears were projected to compete for a playoff spot immediately.

Then they fell flat on their faces.

Chicago ranked 30th in the NFL in offensive success rate. Williams took more sacks than any other quarterback despite his so-called perfect situation. It was a disaster that seemingly only Packers fans could see coming.

But NFL analysts are ready to start the whole cycle again.

Meanwhile, the Packers are quietly entering the season with one of the best rosters in football and coaching continuity on both sides of the ball. Green Bay even added to their offensive line and secondary before drafting a receiver with the potential to become a star.

As annoying as it is, the Packers will just have to wait until they face the Bears on December 7 to prove the analysts wrong once again.
