Why is he so obsessed with us?

One would think that a double-digit win over the Green Bay Packers would be enough for Amon-Ra St. Brown to stop talking about them, but that isn't the case.

St. Brown has led the charge of being a trash talker, especially about the Packers. He wore a sweatshirt to Lambeau Field last week that said "GREENBAY SUCKS" (yes, Green Bay was one word on his apparel) and now he's obsessing over the fan base.

The Detroit Lions wide receiver continued to talk trash during his podcast, noting that Packers fans are delusional.

St. Brown got on this topic because he felt as though Packers fans feel entitled to the NFC North title. He said that they always feel like the division belongs to them no matter what.

Amon-Ra St. Brown continues to obsess over the Packers

"I feel like the fans think the division is just theirs before the season even starts," said St. Brown. "They think the division is theirs, right now, as we speak, they think it's still theirs. I feel like they're delusional, I don't know."

"I got beer poured on me last year. Wasn't appreciative of that. I don't know who that was, don't know their name, but thought that was crazy work." he added.

A fan poured beer on St. Brown in the 2023 meeting after he attempted a Lambeau Leap.

The Lions truly have become a team filled with cocky players, despite not winning anything ever. Sure, they had a good year last year that saw them reach the NFC Championship Game, but you know what else happened in that game? The Lions blew a massive lead and missed their chance to go to their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

Let's take a few minutes to talk about the history of the NFC North and why Packers fans might think the division belongs to them. Throughout the 20-plus year history of the division, the Packers have won it 12 times while the Lions just won it for the first time a season ago. Fans think that the division belongs to Green Bay because in most cases, it has.

The Lions, meanwhile, were an irrelevant franchise who had one good season and are now in the midst of another good season and suddenly have become trash talkers. If you're a team with championships, then talking trash makes sense, but the Lions don't have any of those.

These two teams will meet again on December 5 on Thursday Night Football, and hopefully the Packers are up to the task of shutting them up this time.
