Andrew Whitworth obliterates Aaron Rodgers in epic rant during Thursday Night Football

Packer fans will love every bit of this.

The Week 14 edition of Thursday Night Football featured two of the best teams in the NFL which just so happened to play in the same division. But, before the Green Bay Packers took on the Detroit Lions in a road tilt, the crew from Amazon Prime Video had plenty to discuss.

One of the topics which came up in the pregame chatter had to do with the Packers under head coach Matt LaFleur, but without former starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Fans remember the time leading up to Rodgers' departure very well. During that time when fans seemingly knew the end was near, plenty of questions were asked, but none more potent and direct than the question of what the Packers might become once Rodgers leaves.

There were questions around whether or not Jordan Love could become the franchise quarterback in Rodgers' place. There were questions around whether or not the team had enough talent (or would be able to go out and get enough talent) to surround Love with the right type of weapons.

But, the big one had to do with LaFleur. What type of coach is LaFleur, really, when it is all said and done? Could he prove to be a legitimate force even without Rodgers? Or would it be a case of Bill Belichick losing Tom Brady?

Andrew Whitworth should have dropped the mic after he was done roasting Aaron Rodgers

Former NFL offensive lineman, Andrew Whitworth, touched on this topic and had quite the response. He noted that the Packers went out and hired Jeff Hafley and signed Josh Jacobs who have equally made impacts. But, after Whitworth detailed those additions, he lit a fire and watched it grow.

"It wasn't that long ago, we were talking about 'who is Matt LaFleur when Aaron Rodgers leaves the Green Bay Packers?' Well, Luke Getsy's been fired twice. Nathaniel Hackett's failed twice. And Aaron Rodgers has four wins in two years as a Jet," Whitworth emphatically pointed out.

"Matt LaFleur, at worst, has nine wins, two seasons in a row. He's won a playoff game. I think we know exactly who Matt LaFleur is and that's a hell of a football coach," Whitworth finished.

Well, there isn't a whole lot extra to say on the matter, now is there? Whitworth pretty much nailed that explanation of LaFleur being a great football coach while throwing Rodgers under the bus repeatedly.
