Dan Campbell's comments about Jahmyr Gibbs bode well for Packers

Heading into Thursday night's game in Detroit, the Packers need every edge they can get. The Lions look like the class of not just the division or conference, but the NFL as a whole.

And given how their first game went earlier this season, the Packers aren't particularly close to being their equals. Especially with the game in Detroit this week, Green Bay's going to need to find whatever advantage they can get their hands on if they're going to pull off the upset and keep their division title dreams alive.

Fortunately, in a bit of a holiday miracle, they actually gone one. Lions' running back Jahmyr Gibbs recently grabbed some attention for a social media post he had that showed, supposedly, a bunch of keywords and codes for the Lions' offense. An opening!

Dan Campbell's no-comments tell the Packers everything they need to know

When asked about the "incident," Campbell repeatedly answered with "no comment." Ladies and gentlemen, we got him. The great Dan Campbell, who'd never say anything negative about his players or team, gave a no-comment.

If that's not the most damning response we've seen across any NFL coach this season, I don't know what is. The Lions are officially rattled. Everyone knows that no-comment is absolutely a comment. I don't want to say the game's over before it's even started, but that's exactly what's happened.

And sure, when asked about it on Monday again, he gave a way more on-brand response. But that's nothing more than fake bravado; it's damage control. He knows that the Packers have all their pass protection secrets, and now that Matt LaFleur has the strategic advantage, it's curtains.

It's definitely not a ploy to make the Packers think they know all the answers and then look foolish on Thursday night, nope, not at all. Jahmyr Gibbs' Twitter picture just gave the Packers the NFC North. We'll all remember where we were when the Lions bottled their best Super Bowl chance in generations.
