Aaron Rodgers has made sure that Green Bay Packers fans have had plenty to laugh about since he was traded from the team in 2023. Not only did Rodgers' stint with the New York Jets turn out to be a complete and total disaster, but now he's expecting teams to treat him like royalty in free agency.

At least that's what former Packers receiver and Rodgers' teammate in New York, Davante Adams, reportedly said. According to NFL insider Michael Silver, who recently appeared on The Athletic's Scoop City podcast, Adams said that Rodgers wants the red carpet rolled out for him by whoever signs him in free agency.

"The second thing Davante told me was, I think Aaron wants someone to roll out the red carpet for him," Silver said. "That is what he is looking for. I'm not sure if he would consider the Steelers doing that right now. I'm not positive how Aaron perceives that or how the Steelers perceive that."

Packers fans can't help but laugh at latest Aaron Rodgers report

For those who have followed Rodgers during his career, these comments from Adams aren't the least bit surprising. He's always wanted attention and it's one of the many reasons Packers fans were glad to be done with him when the team finally traded him two years ago.

Rodgers was hoping that teams would be falling all over each other trying to sign him this offseason, but that's not how it panned out, and only the Steelers are left in the running. The Giants signed Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson, while the Vikings have repeatedly turned down Rodgers.

For Rodgers to want a team (in this case, the Steelers) to act as though he's the franchise's savior this late into the free-agent process is ridiculous, but to Packers fans, it's not a surprise whatsoever. What will make this whole thing even funnier is if Pittsburgh ends up drafting a quarterback in the first round and then Rodgers has one less option to sign with.

While Packers fans don't have to deal with Rodgers anymore, that doesn't mean laughing at him isn't still a fun activity.
