It's hard not to have fun when your team is winning and you also happen to be leading the NFL in touchdown receptions. For former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams, that's exactly where he's at right now with the L.A. Rams.
After the Rams' Sunday Night Football victory, he and his squad were officially locked into the NFC's No. 1 seed in the current playoff race. Meanwhile, Green Bay is holding down the No. 6 spot. Following the win, Adams had a lot to say about this season and, specifically, about how much fun he's having.
"I think, most importantly, I'm having the most fun playing that I've ever had and real grateful to play for a team like this," Adams told the media following the victory.
Alright, Davante. I think we're having a little too much fun over there and, to be honest, you might be a prisoner of the moment here.
Davante Adams did similar things in Green Bay as he's doing in Los Angeles
"It's hard to put your finger exactly on what makes it feel like that," he went on. "But it's just one of those teams where we have a lot of fun together."
Adams went on to talk about whether it's the celebrations, the intense moments or anything in between, his coach, Sean McVay, has done a nice job of instilling the idea that they need to live in the moment.
Well, that's right on par, because again, Adams seems to be really living in this moment.

You know, Adams has led the league in touchdown receptions with two other teams in the past, both on the Packers and Raiders. So, it can't even be that he's catching so many scores this year. Maybe, this is truly a shot at the Green Bay organization.
Is it a shot at his former quarterback, Aaron Rodgers? I don't know if we could go that far.
It's more believable that this has everything to do with coaching. So, fine, that's fair. It makes sense. McVay is notoriously a fun coach to play for. He brings the energy in a way none of Adams' former coaches had brought it.
Let's be real, here. Are we really going to try and make an argument for Mike McCarthy when it comes to having the youth, juice and exhuberant personality that McVay possesses?
Probably not.
So, I suppose this is fair, for now.
