The 2025 season is, unfortunately, over for the Green Bay Packers, who lost a Wild Card game to the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Losing in the playoffs is always tough, and it's even harder when it's against a rival. The Packers have to live with that reality and focus on next season.

While Green Bay does that, Davante Adams is hoping to avenge his former team's loss.

The star wide receiver, who's preparing with the Los Angeles Rams for a Divisional Round matchup in Chicago, recently appeared on the Up & Adams show. When Kay Adams asked him about this notion that he could make Green Bay fans happy by sending the Bears packing, he responded, "Once a Packer, always a Packer." He did emphasize that he's going out on Sunday to win for the Rams, but if Green Bay gets something out of it, he would love that as well.

Before even talking about an avenge angle, Adams brought up his former team when discussing the possible weather in Chicago on Sunday. The star receiver said the first thing he did was look at the forecast, and while it is expected to be below 20 degrees at kickoff, Adams emphasized that he can handle it, because he has a little Green Bay still in his memory bank.

He was selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft and spent his first eight years in Green Bay. That's where he developed into a star receiver, making the Pro Bowl in each of his last five seasons with the team.

That's also when he got to dominate the Bears twice a year. Adams played against Chicago 17 times in his career (once with the Las Vegas Raiders), and has recorded 88 receptions for 1,081 yards and 10 touchdowns against the team. That's an average of 5.2 receptions for 63.6 yards a game.

On Sunday night, with a productive Rams offense, Adams will try to have another explosive game against the Bears. If he and Los Angeles can get the job done, he will help his current team advance to the NFC Championship, and give his former team a small reason to smile.
