Matt LaFleur is locked into a new contract, and he has now reportedly landed his defensive coordinator, hiring Jonathan Gannon. However, LaFleur may not have finished making changes to the coaching staff.

LaFleur had to find a new defensive coordinator after Jeff Hafley landed the Miami Dolphins' head-coaching job, but in theory, LaFleur doesn't need to make any more changes. But it sounds like he will.

According to ESPN's Rob Demovsky, LaFleur is "still 'working through' an additional change to his coaching staff."

Matt LaFleur could make another change to his coaching staff after hiring Jonathan Gannon

It's a vague update from Demovsky, but it's potentially notable.

Could this mean a change in special teams coordinators if Rich Bisaccia moves on? Is LaFleur anticipating any of his staff following Hafley to Miami? Will Gannon want to bring coaches with him to Green Bay?

Many have wondered if Gannon could bring Nick Rallis with him. Rallis served as Gannon's defensive coordinator in Arizona and has a good track record as a linebackers coach, an area LaFleur could look to upgrade on his staff.

Perhaps it's an offensive move if LaFleur anticipates Adam Stenavich taking a play-calling gig elsewhere. He is drawing interest. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Tennessee Titans plan to interview Stenavich for their offensive coordinator opening.

The Packers could've blocked the Titans' request as it's a lateral move, but LaFleur has always allowed his assistants to interview for play-calling roles. It's the same opportunity Sean McVay afforded him. LaFleur was McVay's offensive coordinator but didn't call plays, which led to LaFleur, ironically, taking the Titans' OC job.

Time will tell whether it's one move or multiple, but it sounds like LaFleur will continue to rework his staff for 2026. Gannon will bring different qualities to the defensive coordinator role, and it's possible the Packers could want to reshape their staff to reflect that, especially if there's any risk of Hafley poaching anyone from Green Bay.

Stay tuned. The Packers might not be done yet.
