It's been a minute since Brett Favre has suited up for an NFL game, and it's been even longer since he's donned a Green Bay Packers jersey. His last season was (takes a deep breath) 2010... and that feels like a couple of lower back and hip injuries ago. Still, Favre is a very recognizable guy. His gunslinger mentality transcended football and he is widely considered one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game.

While the numbers and accolades won't fully do him justice, Favre retired with 71,838 passing yards, 508 touchdowns, three league MVPs, and a Super Bowl championship. The league immortalized his greatness by admitting him into the Hall of Fame.

Long story short: he was good enough that even casual football fans would recognize him. Everyone knows him. Well... not everybody.

Giants rookie Cam Skattebo appeared on the St. Brown podcast with co-hosts Amon-Ra and Equanimeous St. Brown to discuss his journey to the NFL and to talk shop. The duo played a game with Skattebo where they had him guess NFL legends on the spot with nothing but their picture. Let's just say he needed a lot of help.

Cam Skattebo struggles to identify NFL legends on St. Brown podcast

Skattebo is 23 years old. That needs to be said. But even though he didn't grow up watching Favre sling the ball up and down the field, he should at least know who Favre is. He was shown a photo of Baker Mayfield recreating the iconic draft photo of Favre. Skat knew who Baker was, but struggled mightily identifying Favre:

"Bottom one's a quarterback, too? ... I have no idea who that is."

Oof. That has to hit Packers fans right in the age.

Now look — the kid’s got plenty of time to get caught up on his NFL history. Skattebo’s football future is bright. He runs hard, he plays with juice, and he’s already won over some Giants fans with his energy. But it might be worth flipping through a few flashcards of league legends before the Packers come to town in Week 11.

By then, someone in green and gold might be kind enough to remind him who wore No. 4 before it was hanging in the rafters. Or at least point him toward Canton. This one will have Packers fans in their feels.
