It's the most wonderful time of year, but also the most uncertain. Beneath the excitement of playoff football is the brutal reality of coach firings, players fighting for their futures, and pending free agents wondering what's next.
That cloud of uncertainty looms over Green Bay, Wisconsin. Will the Packers' season extend beyond their trip to Soldier Field? Will Matt LaFleur return in 2026? Brian Gutekunst? How many players will bolt in free agency?
Then there is Jeff Hafley, the Packers' talented second-year defensive coordinator whose name is firmly in the NFL's head-coach cycle, though John Harbaugh's surprise exit in Baltimore may impact his top landing spot in New York. Again, so many questions we don't yet have the answers to.
But Hafley can only control what's in front of him. Just before he walked away from the podium in what could be his final press conference in Green Bay, Hafley delivered one bold prediction for Saturday's playoff game against the Chicago Bears.
"We are not going to be done, so I will see you guys next week," Hafley said.

Delivered with perfection. The subtlety. Hafley saved it for the end. Just as he was about to walk away, he very politely told everyone the Packers are beating the Bears this week.
Coaches try to make their pressers so boring these days. Mike McCarthy once used that exact word, saying he is "boring by design" while speaking to reporters. Not Hafley. He's not interested in your coachspeak.
How can you not love him? Hafley seems to genuinely appreciate reporters' questions and gives thoughtful answers.
He said he'll be here next week, and there's reason to trust him.
Despite the challenges his defense has faced without Micah Parsons, the Packers dominated for 58 minutes at Soldier Field three weeks ago, allowing just six points before the botched onside kick. We won't get into the what-if game, but had Romeo Doubs caught the onside kick, Hafley would've completed a masterclass to sweep the Bears.
He didn't have Evan Williams that night. He does now. The offense didn't have Zach Tom. They do now. Jordan Love suffered a concussion in the first half and hasn't played since. He is back.
Hafley has placed his cards on the table. He may have to eat those words, or it could go down as the ultimate mic-drop moment. But if this is it for his time in Green Bay, what a way to go out.
