Remember the Josh Jacobs drama? It feels like it's already been 1,000 years since Jacobs made a bunch of headlines early in Super Bowl media week for saying that the Packers needed to go sign a bonafide #1 wide receiver, and any one of them will do! Definitely not just Davante Adams, who he probably wasn't even thinking about at all when answering!

The interview – which was, of course, done with a local sports radio host – brought a little bit of juice to an otherwise boring Packers offseason, and at the very least created a talking point for the next month until free agency starts. And if you can believe it, Jacobs isn't the only one who actually feels that way! In a recent interview with SportsLens (?), Packers QB Jordan Love echoed the exact same sentiment.
Jordan Love thinks the same thing everyone thinks about Packers' wide receivers
“Yeah, we’ll see,” says Love when asked about Jacobs’ comments. “Every offseason, there’s so much going on. There’s a lot of rumors, speculation, see who a team might add, things like that. There’s a lot of uncertainty. You never really know until it’s set in stone and things happen. I love the group we have. We’ll see if we add some pieces to that group — it definitely would not hurt. We’ll go from there. You need the right guys and guys that want to win and continue to elevate their game. That’s part of it.”
That's the most quarterback answer of all quarterback answers. "We'll see?" Check. He loves the group he has? Check. BUT, he could always some more help? Check. Whoever teaches best media practices for the Packers is probably shedding a joyful tear or two as we speak. I hope this doesn't make another big wave on Packers Twitter – famous last words – because it is wildly bland. Nothing about this is interesting. But that's not how the internet works, so I'm sure he'll have to go back to SportsLens and retract this.
