Jayden Reed has already been battling through a foot injury, but the Green Bay Packers now face a potential nightmare with their star third-year wide receiver.
He caught a would-be touchdown in the first quarter of the Packers' Thursday Night Football showdown against the Washington Commanders, but suffered a shoulder injury on an awkward landing. To add insult to injury, a penalty on rookie right tackle Anthony Belton wiped out the touchdown.
The Packers initially listed Reed as questionable to return, but they have since ruled him out for the remainder of the game.

Jayden Reed suffers concerning shoulder injury in Packers' TNF game vs. Commanders
It didn't look great. Reed was in a lot of pain and immediately had to leave the game. It will be surprising if he returns to this contest, and it's fair to wonder if it could cost him time.
The 2023 second-round pick is already dealing with a reported Jones fracture in his foot, which has limited him at practice. Depending on the severity of the injury, the Packers may need to shut him down for a while to let him recover from both injuries. We'll see. He's already out for the rest of this game.
With Reed off the field, the Packers will rely on Romeo Doubs, Matthew Golden, and Dontayvion Wicks. Tucker Kraft also made a fast start to the game — he has two catches for 72 yards — but pulled up with an apparent injury. Fortunately, Kraft was OK.
Hopefully, Reed's injury isn't too serious and he doesn't miss much time. He is a crucial piece of the Packers' passing game and can line up across the field. But with a shoulder injury to add to the foot issue he's already playing through, it's fair to wonder if he will require some time on the sideline.
