This is where the real football begins. If you ask Jordan Love, it's Toyotathon time. And that can only mean good things for the Green Bay Packers.
November and December football is where the separation happens; the separation between pretenders and contenders. And, as of right now, the Chicago Bears are leading the NFC North at 7-3. The Packers still hold a playoff berth in their hands, but it'll be a Wild Card spot, for now.
Good for them. It's always nice to see when a blind squirrel finds a nut. Sometimes, it happens. And, until the Bears prove otherwise, they are still the Bears. Let them enjoy their current comfy spot atop the division, because there's no chance it lasts.
And, that's not just an opinion. Even the league's updated playoff picture and odds tracker agrees.
Packers fans will laugh without even trying after seeing the latest playoff odds
Let's take a look at the most recent NFC playoff picture straight from the league's official website.
Just to give even more context on the topic at hand, spots 9-11 are occupied by the Carolina Panthers (21 percent chance to make the postseason), Dallas Cowboys (7 percent chance) and the Minnesota Vikings (5 percent).
But, if you notice, the Bears have the worst odds to make the playoffs out of any of the top eight teams at just 58 percent.
Yet, they hold the No. 3 seed.
They're the current NFC North leaders.
Even the league doesn't believe in these Bears, yet. I hesitate to throw "yet" in there, but just to be fair and objective, there is of course a chance that Chicago is legit under Ben Johnson. And, that would only be good for the division. Heck, it'd bring back a rivalry that hasn't exactly been a true rivalry in years.

The Packers own the Bears as of late. Forget Aaron Rodgers' lease on Soldier Field, Green Bay just knows how to beat the Bears. The Packers have won nine out of the last 10 matchups, with the only loss coming in the most recent matchup.
Green Bay has a real chance to climb back atop the division over the coming weeks, with five NFC North matchups remaining -- including the two against Chicago.
The Bears, meanwhile, are likely to face Aaron Rodgers this coming Sunday, and we know how that usually goes. From there, they have to play the Lions again, plus a game against another NFC playoff team in the 49ers.
Moral of the story: pretty soon, things will be back to normal.
