In the world of cryptic Matt LaFleur injury updates, his comments on Friday told us everything we need to know about whether Jordan Love will play in the Green Bay Packers' wild-card matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

LaFleur confirmed that Love logged a second straight full practice, which is the first positive sign, and then he revealed more than usual. Rather than simply saying Love was "full," which he typically does, LaFleur went a step further.

"He did well. Today was a good day," said LaFleur.

The Packers head coach appeared to be in a good mood, and why wouldn't he be? Not only is he preparing his team for a playoff game, but they could get several starters back from injury, including rookie standout Evan Williams.

Love's status was the No. 1 concern after he left last week's loss to the Chicago Bears.

Love practiced all week, including two full sessions. It's a clear sign of his availability for Sunday's game against the Eagles, and LaFleur sure didn't sound too concerned about his status.

Philadelphia will also get its starting quarterback back for this game, as head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed Jalen Hurts has cleared the concussion protocol and is ready to go. It's exactly what we want: both star quarterbacks healthy and playing in a huge showdown between two of the NFC's best teams.

It was at Lincoln Financial Field in 2022 where Love came off the bench and gave Packers fans confidence about moving on from Aaron Rodgers. Love filled in for an injured Rodgers in the fourth quarter and completed six of nine passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.

Love won't have Christian Watson available, who is out for the season, but he will hope to replicate last year's wild-card performance when he earned a near-perfect passer rating in a 48-32 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

The Packers face a daunting task this week, but Love is healthy, and all signs seem to indicate he is good to go.
