When Micah Parsons went down in Week 15 with a torn ACL, he took a lot of the Green Bay Packers' positive vibes with him. However, following his surgery on Monday, some good news has arrived.

Parsons, who still leads the team in sacks and tackles for loss, posted an excited tweet on Monday night, claiming that the surgery had gone "amazing." Following Coach Matt LaFleur's latest comments, that excitement can only grow within the Packers' fan base.

"I talked to him. He was in great spirits, and it sounded like everything went really well," LaFleur said in Wednesday's press conference. "He's ahead of schedule already."

Micah had already teased that he would return to the field next September, which would make for an insanely quick recovery. Now, with LaFleur's update, it seems even more likely that he won't miss any of the 2026 season.

While the season isn't over yet, it's hard not to look forward to 2026. This season marked Micah's fifth year in a row with at least 12 sacks, even as injury concerns resulted in limited snaps to start his first season in the Green and Gold. Next season, he should be more comfortable within Green Bay's scheme and fired up to deliver even higher highs.

The good news couldn't come at a better time. Despite clinching the playoffs, the Packers have lost their last three games and just put up one of their worst defensive showings of the year. Parsons' presence on the field will be missed as the NFL season enters its final month, but a speedy recovery is all Packers fans can hope for.

For now, the defense must find a way to win without their star pass-rusher.
