As far as playoff-clinching, shutout wins go, the Green Bay Packers' evening was kind of a bummer. Despite a comically-easy win over a New Orleans team that just looked so, so ready to be on the flight home, the postgame mood was dampened because of what seems like a potentially-serious knee injury for wide receiver Christian Watson.

Midway through the first half of Monday night's game, Watson left the field and went into the Packers' medical tent. He returned a few plays later, but after falling awkwardly on a tackle later in the game, was taken out for good. He told reporters that he "couldn't play the type of football I wanted to play so we shut it down."
When asked about Watson's status, Matt LaFleur didn't have much to say about the injury, though he admitted that the team was concerned. Outside of that, however, the team didn't have many details to provide.
Matt LaFleur's initial reaction to Christian Watson's injury should worry Packers fans
"There's some concern there, certainly," LaFleur told reporters after the game. "We're going to get some more testing done tomorrow, and hopefully I'll have an answer for you tomorrow."
Losing Watson would obviously be a tough blow any week, but given the short week they're on before next Sunday's game in Minnesota, the timing of the injury couldn't be much worse. Heading into Monday night's game, Watson ranked 2nd on the team in receiving yards (620), 5th in receptions (29) and 5th in touchdowns (2) while starting all 13 games he's appeared in.
He missed one game earlier this season – Week 5's game against the Rams – with an ankle injury. While Watson was held without a reception against the Saints on Monday night, he did have two rushes for 23 yards, one of which was the play where he went down with the injury.
