In case you have a life and are not even remotely aware of Richard Sherman's podcast Packers beef, let me fill you in: Richard Sherman has Packers beef. On a podcast. New media!

"I guarantee you. Every NFC North team is excited to see Jordan Love. Ecstatic," Sherman said on his podcast back in April 2023. "Nobody will fear you going forward. Understand that."

He, of course, used the Packers' Wild Card loss to the Eagles to double down on that sentiment, which shows how seamlessly Sherman's transitioned into A Real Member Of The Media. The tweets picked up a little traction, and on the Matt LaFleur Podcast this week, LaFleur was asked about Sherman's opinion. If you can believe it, an NFL coach doesn't really have any idea what's happening on the internet.

Matt LaFleur isn't really paying attention to Richard Sherman's Packers takes

"That's an interesting take," LaFleur said. "I was unaware of that. You know, everyone's going to have an opinion. You've just got to ignore the noise. And tha'ts what I've done. I can't imagine what they're saying about me right now. It is what it is, man. People want to win and they're passionate. But I know how I feel about Jordan Love, and I feel like we can absolutely let him rip it 50 times if need be to go win us a playoff game. You can win a Super Bowl with him."

For whatever it's worth, that last sentence is nice to hear. I don't know if it's true at all, but it's nice to hear. I'm not surprised one bit that Matt LaFleur isn't interested in beefing with Richard Sherman, because that doesn't sound fun at all. I'm sure it would be great for downloads and clicks and The Brand, but the fun thing about LaFleur is that he not only is not interested in that, but has probably never even heard of downloads and he definitely hasn't heard of clicks. But now you know what Matt LaFleur thinks about Richard Sherman thinks about Jordan Love.
