The Green Bay Packers entered the 2026 NFL Draft without a first-round pick, after sending it away last offseason for Micah Parsons. While having a first-round pick is exciting, it's safe to say fans are happy to have Parsons. That's especially the case since Green Bay has the elite defender and still put together a good draft class.

The Packers ultimately selected six players, and they found some tremendous value on the final two days of the draft. That was evident in a recent ESPN piece by draft analyst Matt Miller, where he ranked the 100 best picks. The analyst took into account things like where the player was selected vs. where they were ranked, scheme fit, team needs, what the prospect will provide on the field, and if the team had to trade to land the player.

With all of those factors considered, Green Bay had two of its picks ranked in the top 100. The selection of cornerback Brandon Cisse was ranked 18th, and the pick of pass-rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton ranked 66th.

Starting with Cisse, who Green Bay drafted in the second round with the 52nd overall pick, Miller was a really big fan of this selection. He had the cornerback ranked 32nd in his final overall prospect rankings, and the Packers selected him 20 spots later. The value alone makes Cisse a great selection.

Additionally, Cisse is exactly what Green Bay needs: a quality, long corner. That's why Miller thinks the defensive back could be a difference maker for the Packers.

"The Packers needed length at cornerback while also getting younger and better at the position. Cisse is a press-man dream with 4.41 speed and 31⅜-inch arm length. With Keisean Nixon in the final year of his deal, Cisse could be in for an early starting role. Grabbing him 20 spots later than he was ranked shows that GM Brian Gutekunst is still one of the league's best at attacking value and drafting high-leverage positions early."

For Dennis-Sutton, Miller had the edge defender ranked 56th in his final prospect rankings. The Packers were able to draft him in the fifth round with the 120th pick, creating another value pickup. Miller made sure to emphasize that Dennis-Sutton is one of the steals of the draft, because most teams believed he had a floor in the third round.

The Packers drafted him in the fourth round and will add him to a defensive front that will include Micah Parsons, once he's healthy. With a player like Cisse being added to the secondary, Green Bay's defense is ready to take another step.
