The Green Bay Packers losing on Sunday was the least of fans' worries on Monday morning. The bigger and more troubling issue from the game was the injury to star tight end Tucker Kraft, who was absolutely dominating teams on the gridiron this year.
During their eventual loss to the underdog Carolina Panthers, Kraft collided with his own offensive lineman and was down on the field for quite a while afterward with what was later diagnosed as a torn ACL. The news is an absolute gut punch to Packers fans, as Kraft was truly having a special season, and now, his season is over.
Kraft's teammates are also having a tough time with the news. First-year Packer Micah Parsons summed up everyone's feelings on the injury perfectly on his Instagram story, sharing a picture of him, Kraft, and Jordan Love in black and white with three emojis to go along with the photo. Those emojis included a broken heart, an angry face, and a face with a tear drop. Well said, Micah.
Micah Parsons' response to Tucker Kraft's injury will break fans' hearts
These three emojis on Parsons' Instagram story truly sum up how all of the Cheeseheads are feeling right now. There's obviously the heartbroken feeling of an up-and-coming star in this league suffering a season-ending injury the day before his freaking birthday.
The anger is because he was Love's go-to guy, and now that weapon is missing. The sadness is self-explanatory.
The fact that Parsons has only been with the Packers for a few months and is this devastated over Kraft's injury shows what a great player and teammate he is. The hope is that he makes a full recovery and can return to his 2025 self when he's back in the lineup for the Packers in 2026.
Until then, it'll be Luke Musrgave and John FitzPatrick's time to shine.
