It still doesn't feel real. Micah Parsons plays for the Green Bay Packers.
Jared Goff knows it's real, as he had the All-Pro in his face on multiple occasions, despite Parsons playing on a pitch count in the Packers' dominant 27-13 victory over the Detroit Lions in Week 1. Parsons had a lot to say after the game, and each comment made the trade even sweeter for the Packers.
"I can't lie — it gave me chills. This environment, the first time, how they embraced me — the fans. This was 1 of 1," Parsons told CBS in his postgame interview.
Once he got back to the locker room, Parsons went deeper into the trade, what it means to play for the Packers, and the challenging few months he faced.
Micah Parsons delivers a message Packers fans will love after the Week 1 victory
"These last six months was super draining, super toxic for everyone. It's something that I don't think no player should have to go through," said Parsons, via Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
That sure sounds like a direct message to the Cowboys. Their loss is the Packers' gain, and we're so thankful Jerry Jones parted ways with his Hall-of-Fame pass-rusher.
His next few lines will give Packers fans chills.
"These guys embraced me," Parsons said. "They believe in my talents. They believed in me and I'm just gonna give these guys everything I have because I know what's at stake and I know what they gave up for me to be here and I'mma do what it takes for us to win."

Despite only playing 29 defensive snaps, Parsons delivered for the Packers on debut. He sacked Goff once and pressured him twice, one resulting in an Evan Williams interception. Even Lions All-Pro tackle Penei Sewell had no answer for Parsons, eventually forcing the Lions to bring in reinforcements just to slow him down.
That opened up the rest of the Packers' defense. Rashan Gary had 1.5 sacks, Devonte Wyatt had one, and Lukas Van Ness added half of his own. Gary hit Goff three times, as did Wyatt. Even when Parsons didn't show up on the box score, he impacted the game.
His nightmare in Dallas is over. Parsons got traded to a team willing to pay him what he deserves, and he got to enjoy a Lambeau welcome like no other.
His arrival makes the Packers Super Bowl contenders, and it showed in Week 1. One has to spare a thought for Jerry Jones, who must wonder what he was thinking by sending Parsons to Green Bay.
