Green Bay Packers 2026 schedule leaks and rumors
Packers only have one shot at an international game
Many of the NFL's international matchups have already been announced. Packers president Ed Policy told Cheesehead TV that they will play all of their home games at Lambeau Field this season, leaving only the possibility of playing a "road" game internationally.
However, the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints are the only designated home teams hosting the Packers this season. Policy said the Lions have protected that game, ensuring it will remain in Detroit. A trip to Paris to face the Saints, anyone?
No Packers-Rams game in Week 1
The Packers will visit the Los Angeles Rams at some point this season, but it won't happen in Week 1. The Rams have already been confirmed for a trip to the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia to take on the San Francisco 49ers. That leaves Green Bay with one fewer option for its season opener.
