Green Bay Packers 2026 schedule leaks and rumors
More Packers schedule rumors dropped, including Bears game in Week 5
Per the NFL Nerd Pro Grid, which does an excellent job of tracking the latest updates, the Packers will host the Bears in Week 5.
They will also take on the Lions at Ford Field in Week 7, get their bye in Week 11, the Bills at Lambeau in Week 14, the Texans at home in Week 17, and the Lions at home in Week 18.
Packers will play their home opener on TNF in Week 3
The Packers will begin the season with consecutive road games, and their home opener won't come until Thursday Night Football in Week 3. According to NFL Nerd on X, they will host the Falcons.
Packers will play Patriots in Week 9
According to Mike Kadlick of On SI, the Packers will visit the Patriots in Week 9 at 3:25 p.m. CT.
Packers rumored to play Panthers on TNF in Week 8
According to Kyle Bailey of Charlotte's WFNZ, the Packers will host the Panthers on Thursday Night Football on October 29, which is Week 8. Amazon will have the broadcast.
Packers rumored to open the season against Vikings
The Packers may have a division rival at Lambeau in Week 1 for the second season in a row. Easton Butler of Packer Report has "heard" that it'll be Green Bay-Minnesota in the opener.
Update: According to NFL Nerd on X, it's a road game for the Packers in Week 1. They will play at U.S. Bank Stadium, giving them back-to-back away games to begin the season.
Packers will play Bears on Christmas Day
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Packers and Bears will meet at Soldier Field in Week 16, with the game taking place on Christmas Day.
Packers-Bucs rumored for Week 4
According to NFL Nerd on X, the Packers will take on the Buccaneers on the road in Week 4. This is notable as Micah Parsons could miss the opening four games of the season.
Packers rumored to face Jets in Week 2
According to the NFL Nerd account on X, the Packers will visit the Jets in Week 2. Will this mean they open at Lambeau Field?
Packers will visit Rams on Thanksgiving Eve
The Packers have announced they will meet the Rams on Thanksgiving Eve, which means they will play on a Wednesday in Week 12. Will this mean a Week 11 bye week? A Saturday game? It sure feels like a complicated addition to the schedule, but it should make for must-see viewing.
Packers won't play an international game in 2026
Many of the NFL's international matchups have already been announced. Packers president Ed Policy told Cheesehead TV that they will play all of their home games at Lambeau Field this season, which only left the possibility of a road game being moved overseas.
However, the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints are the only teams on the Packers' road schedule who are designated home teams for international games. Policy said the Lions have protected that game, ensuring it will remain in Detroit. And according to a schedule leak from OzzyNFL, who has been on the money with other rumors, the Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Saints in Paris.
No Packers-Rams game in Week 1
The Packers will visit the Los Angeles Rams at some point this season, but it won't happen in Week 1. The Rams have already been confirmed for a trip to the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia to take on the San Francisco 49ers. That leaves Green Bay with one fewer option for its season opener.
