Packers build high-end offensive line, cornerback room in 3-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft
By Mike Luciano
The Green Bay Packers have managed to claw their way to a 9-3 record in the 2024 NFL season despite some Jordan Love turnover problems and some subpar showings against inferior teams. This team will likely make it back to the playoffs for the second time in as many years with Love as the starter.
Still, a solid 2025 NFL Draft class is needed to vault them into the contender arena. The offensive line needs one more long-term contributor on it, and the Packers could stand to bring in one more quality cornerback and pass-rusher each on Day 2 of the draft.
The Packers would be wise to follow this plan of attack in the NFL Draft, as it attacks all their biggest needs while also finding exemplary value for a team picking later in any given round. Brian Gutekunst could walk away from yet another draft with another A+ draft class by following this plan.
Green Bay Packers 3-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft
Round 1, Pick 27: Cameron Williams, OT, Texas
If the Packers are going to keep Jordan Morgan at guard, it stands to reason they could use one of their top picks on someone who can keep Jordan Love upright. Williams may be a right tackle who is viewed as an inferior prospect to Longhorns left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr., but he is worthy of first-round consideration.
Williams is a bit raw and not the most fleet of foot, but his raw power is equaled by a select few across this draft class. With production against quality SEC opponents and tremendous run-blocking potential, Williams and Morgan can both be decade-long starters on this Green Bay line.
Round 2, Pick 58: Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
Green is a risk in that 16 of his 21.5 collegiate sacks have come with the Thundering Herd in 2024. Furthermore, at 248 pounds, it's fair to question his every-down potential. However, Green has shown he can get to the quarterback, and that is all the Packers will need him to do in the pros.
Green plays like he's shot out of a cannon on certain reps, and he is a tremendous athlete when asked to make plays in space. A much stronger player than his weight would indicate thanks to his strong hands, Green could provide a new set of skills for a completely average Packers pass rush that lost Preston Smith.
Round 3, Pick 91: Cobee Bryant, CB, Kansas
As good as Jaire Alexander and Xavier McKinney are by themselves, the Packers could use one more impactful addition to take their secondary from good to great. Bryant is very skinny at just 175 pounds, but he is a proven ballhawk with 10 interceptions in the last three seasons with the Jayhawks.
Bryant's aggression, sticky hands, and speed will make him the type of player who can contribute to a winning team early in his career while he keeps adding weight. Bryant will be a high-end Year 2 contributor, which is more than satisfactory for a Day 2 player.
