The Green Bay Packers may not have been expected to beat the Philadelphia Eagles on the road in their playoff matchup, but losing as close a game as they did while Jordan Love was intercepted three times has to leave a bad taste in Matt LaFleur's mouth.

The Packers' loss exposed multiple areas of weakness on this roster. The wide receiver room's lack of a star No. 1 target may have been the biggest takeaway from that thrashing, but Green Bay has some major defensive holes and offensive depth issues elsewhere that need to be plugged.

The Packers have proven to be one of the best drafting teams in the league over the last few years, and the 2025 NFL Draft could be another situation where they could flex their muscles. If they follow this plan of attack, the Packers should be able to waltz back into the postseason.

Green Bay Packers 3-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 23: Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss

With Preston Smith gone and everyone other than Rashan Gary looking incredibly average on the defensive line, the Packers will need to add multiple pass rushers in the draft to even stand a chance of having a competitive unit in 2025 and beyond. A veteran speed rusher with 25.5 collegiate sacks, Umanmielen is a demon for tackles who can't handle speed.

Umanmielen is never going to be a terrific run-defender, but the presence of Gary and Kenny Clark can make up for that. Umanmielen's speed, bend, and violence as a pass rusher are phenomenal, so much so that there's a good chance he could keep pace with Abdul Carter in the sack department early in his career.

Round 2, Pick 54: Wyatt Milum, OT, West Virginia

There's no such thing in this league as too many good offensive linemen. While Milum's stock has risen a bit in the last few months, the Packers may be able to land him if teams early in the Day 2 order are worried about his robotic style of play and merely average lateral quickness.

Milum's power and heavy hands could help him in pass protection, and he has shown to be a solid road-grader who can open up holes in the running game. Even if Milum doesn't start in his first season, the Eagles showed what Love turns into when he doesn't have tremendous protection.

Round 3, Pick 87: Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State

Igbinosun is suffering from the side effects of teammate Denzel Burke widely being regarded as the superior prospect. Burke might be the better player right now, but Igbinosun may end up as the better professional player thanks to his superior physical traits at 6-2 and just under 200 pounds.

Igbinosun's issues stem from some very mixed results tackling in the open field and a penchant for committing untimely penalties. The traits worth developing are his outstanding long speed, ability to jam receivers at the line of scrimmage easily due to his long arms, and spectacular athletic ability.
