Spoiler warning: There's a strong possibility the Green Bay Packers will draft multiple players from the list below. Let's explain.
Pre-draft visits matter for the Packers. A lot, it turns out. Over the past four years, Green Bay has reportedly met with 117 prospects. Brian Gutekunst drafted 18 of them, while a further seven ended up on the roster. That's 25 in total, over a fifth of the Packers' pre-draft visitors.
It's a list that includes first-round picks Matthew Golden and Devonte Wyatt, and second-rounders Christian Watson, Edgerrin Cooper, and Anthony Belton.
With that in mind, history tells us that the Packers will land at least one of these prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft, and potentially several of them.
The 28 prospects Packers fans need to know ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft
While each team gets a maximum of 30 pre-draft visits, only 28 names have been reported for the Packers. Here are the reported pre-draft visitors, along with their rankings on the consensus board.
Potential Day 2 targets
1. Max Iheanachor, OL, Arizona State (Consensus board: 30th)
2. Christen Miller, DT, Georgia (47th)
3. Lee Hunter, DT, Texas Tech (49th)
4. Chris Brazzell, WR, Tennessee (57th)
5. A.J. Haulcy, S, LSU (59th)
6. Mike Washington Jr., RB, Arkansas (60th)
7. Ted Hurst, WR, Georgia State (69th)
8. Romello Height, Edge, Texas Tech (77th)
It's no surprise that the Packers have prioritized meeting with prospects projected to go on Day 2.
Arizona State tackle Max Iheanachor is an interesting name to watch. He should be a first-rounder, although he sits 30th on the consensus board and could slide into the second round. Even then, the odds of Iheanachor falling to No. 52 overall remain low. Would the Packers consider trading up for the talented Arizona State tackle?
Iheanachor has star potential. It's quite incredible how well he played at Arizona State considering he didn't start playing football until 2021, according to Dane Brugler of The Athletic. Iheanachor didn't allow a sack last season.
He played predominantly at right tackle in college, so it's unclear where he'd best fit in Green Bay. A year to develop as the swing tackle could set Iheanachor up for success.
There are several other notable names here.
The Packers hosted two defensive tackles in this range: Georgia's Christen Miller and Texas Tech's Lee Hunter.
Green Bay loves to draft Georgia Bulldogs, and Miller is an outstanding run defender. The concern is that he doesn't have an athletic profile after skipping most of the drills, which the Packers value. It's the opposite issue for Hunter, whose disappointing testing numbers might keep him off Green Bay's board.
Based on talent, either player would make a lot of sense at No. 52 overall, but only if the Packers don't consider a surprise move on offense.
Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell has drawn comparisons to Christian Watson. Like Watson, Brazzell boasts the rare size/speed/athleticism combination that the Packers covet. He is one of the best deep threats in the class and could be a surprise option for Green Bay at No. 52 after losing Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks.
Georgia State's Ted Hurst is another receiver who fits what the Packers typically look for. Hurst hits their size preferences at 6-foot-3 and 206 pounds, while his incredible acceleration and lightning speed help him generate explosive plays.
Potential Day 3 targets
9. Kaleb Proctor, DT, Southeastern Louisiana (118th)
10. Will Lee III, CB, Texas A&M (125th)
11. Charles Demmings, CB, Stephen F. Austin (160th)
12. Kaelon Black, RB, Indiana (201st)
13. Jordan van den Berg, DT, Georgia Tech (240th)
14. Michael Heldman, Edge, Central Michigan (261st)
15. Jaden Dugger, LB, Louisiana (278th)
The Packers have found great value on Day 3 of the draft in recent years, and they could have some options in Rounds 4 and 5.
Defensive tackle Kaleb Proctor is an interesting name. He is undersized and not exactly what the Packers need along the defensive line, but his potential is undeniable. Proctor recorded nine sacks last season, helping him earn PFF's third-best pass-rush grade among 887 interior linemen.
Cornerback Will Lee III broke up 18 passes over his final two seasons at Texas A&M. He's a little lighter than the Packers typically go for at cornerback, but he could be an interesting Day 3 target.
Central Michigan pass-rusher Michael Heldman could be a Day 3 steal. Playing at a small school may hurt his chances of getting drafted earlier, but he dominated the competition, with 10.5 sacks and 16.5 tackles for loss in 13 games last season. Heldman is one of the best athletes at his position in this year's class, and his overall 92.9 PFF grade ranked first among 852 edge defenders last season.
Lombardi Ave's John Sbisa made a strong case for why Heldman should be on the Packers' radar.
Potential Late Day 3/UDFA targets
16. Nyjalik Kelly, Edge, UCF (311th)
17. Anterio Thompson, DT, Washington (319th)
18. Behren Morton, QB, Texas Tech (329th)
19. Jacob Thomas, S, James Madison (346th)
20. Josh Gesky, OL, Illinois (356th)
21. Ethan Onianwa, OL, Ohio State (358th)
22. Karon Prunty, CB, Wake Forest (371st)
23. TJ Quinn, LB, Louisville (417th)
24. D'Arco Perkins-McAllister, CB, Louisiana-Monroe (Unranked)
25. Malcolm DeWalt IV, CB, Akron (Unranked)
26. Anthony Smith, WR, East Carolina (Unranked)
27. Damon Bankston, RB, New Mexico (Unranked)
28. Juwon Gatson, S, Middle Tennessee (Unranked)
Keep an eye on these prospects late on Day 3. While they are all ranked lower than 300th on the consensus board, and some are unranked, all it takes is the Packers liking one of them enough to take a swing in the seventh round.
The consensus board almost goes out the window at this stage. If Green Bay likes a prospect enough, it makes sense to draft them rather than competing with other teams in undrafted free agency.
Once the seventh round is over, the Packers will have an opportunity to sign any undrafted rookies to their remaining roster spots. Even if they miss out in undrafted free agency, don't be surprised if one or two of these players end up on the training camp 90-man roster if they don't stick with another team.
