The Green Bay Packers' special teams decided not to show up in Week 7, but the Lambeau Field fans certainly did.

Fans showed up wearing white, as instructed by the team, for the debut of their "Winter Warning" uniforms, and they are continuing to play their part. Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon may have gotten into the end zone, but there was no way Packers fans were letting him do a Lambeau Leap.

Mixon attempted to leap into the stands after finding a Texans fan, but the Packers fan next to him was having none of it. He shoved the former Pro Bowl running back to make sure he couldn't complete the leap.

Take notes, Rich Bisaccia.

The Packers' special teams unit has made an awful start in Week 7 and gifted the Texans a touchdown. Green Bay's defense got a stop, but Keisean Nixon surprisingly didn't field the punt. It bounced off Corey Ballentine and led to a Texans recovery. Jeff Hafley's defense has played well, but the special teams set them up to fail in that situation.

Fortunately, the Packers can thank their fans for making a stop when the rest of the team couldn't.

It has been an ugly game so far, outside of two Jordan Love touchdown passes. The Packers turned the ball over three times in the first half, including two Love interceptions. Despite the great play from the defense, Green Bay has kept Houston in the game through its own mistakes.

It is frustrating to see this team continue to get in its own way. Love is taking too many risks, the special teams (even after hopefully fixing the kicking problem) remain a mess, and the Packers have thrown away an opportunity to build a lead.

The fans turned up, and they are making more plays than the Packers. Matt LaFleur's team has work to do.
