Packers fans can't help but laugh at how quickly Aaron Rodgers is ruining the Jets

They're unbothered. Moisturized. In their lane. Thriving.

Well well well. LOOK what we have here today. Before everyone's first cup of coffee even fully hit, Aaron Rodgers got his head coach fired.

That doesn't sound like him at all! Adam Schefter – and then literally every single NFL reporter ever – tweeted out the news this morning that the Jets were moving on from Robert Saleh in the middle of the season:

What a shocker. Where were the signs? Why didn't anyone see this coming? It's not like there were any videos of Rodgers actively pushing away his coach after scoring, or postgame press conference quotes from Rodgers doubting Saleh's ability to coach, or week's worth of standard Rodgers snark about how all the Jets' problems were simple and anyone with half a football brain would know that? [taps ear piece] Actually I'm just now being told all of those things did happen.

And while Jets fans do their usual, Everything's Bigger In New York Including Their Football Neurosis, Packers fans are sitting in their favorite chair, enjoying a cup of coffee and the fall breeze without a care in the world.

Aaron Rodgers isn't the Packers' problem anymore and that's delightful

Remember when Rodgers spent years trying to hold the Packers hostage? When he tried to be the team's de facto GM for a few years there? The darkness retreat? It was abundantly obvious where the Rodgers-Packers partnership was headed over the last half-decade or so, and it was miserable (the on-field results certainly didn't help).

It's actually kinda astonishing how quickly things went south in New Jersey vs. how quickly things went south in Green Bay. The NFL's all about making adjustments, and to Rodgers' credit, he very clearly took what he learned with the Packers and streamlined the efficiency of it for the Jets. Turns out trying to get your coach fired is way easier the second time around.

As for Packers fans, they are R-E-L-A-X-E-D – at least as much as any fanbase can be considering the NFC North standings. Jordan Love is back, Tucker Kraft's breakout year is here, and Xavier McKinney looks like the best free agent signing of the season. But more importantly, Aaron Rodgers isn't their problem anymore; there's no weird obligation to watch the Pat McAfee show anymore. Regardless of how this week's Cardinals game goes, Packers fans got a big ol' win this week.
