The Green Bay Packers may have moved to 2-0 on the 2025 season after an impressive Thursday Night Football win against the Washington Commanders, but standout wide receiver Jayden Reed didn't make it out of the game fully healthy after suffering a serious injury.

Reed suffered a fractured collarbone when he was trying to reel in a touchdown throw from Jordan Love, which will knock him out for at least one month of action and a few games after that. Reed wasted no time in going under the knife, as he wants to get back on the field soon.

As anyone who has undergone a serious procedure like this knows, the medication involved in the procedure can often make you just a bit loopy when you regain consciousness. This happened to Reed, who tried his best to string together a coherent, positive message for Packers fans.

Reed boldly declared "Packers to the [Super] Bowl!" after he was woken up from surgery, even proclaiming that he was "turnt" after the procedure. Anyone who gets a kick out of seeing people right after they get a procedure done will like to see Reed in this state.

While the Packers spread the ball around as much as any team in the league, Reed led the team in multiple key receiving stats last year and looked poised to replicate that before his injury. The one silver lining for Green Bay is the depth that they have at both wide receiver and tight end.

Not only are Romeo Doubs and Tucker Kraft started the season off red-hot, but Dontayvion Wicks and the 1-2 rookie punch of first-rounder Matthew Golden and third-rounder Savion Williams should give the Packers enough firepower to keep Love perfoming like one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

Reed is going to miss a good chunk of the 2025 season, but all signs point to him eventually returning in the second half of the campaign. With Christian Watson looking to return from his ACL injury at a similar time, the Packers might be able to get a double-barreled injection og young talent that could help them compete in the NFC.

Reed might be a bit under the weatherin more ways than one right now, but if he can get back to 100% before the end of the season, that could be an invaluable boost for this Packers offense.
