Packers fans love how utterly miserable Bears were while drafting Colston Loveland

It makes no sense. Compels me, though.

Imagine being grumpy about your first round pick. Couldn't be Packers fans.

You'd think that, theoretically, if you had the 10th overall pick in the NFL Draft, it'd be hard to get all that upset about whoever your team picked. Even in a bad draft class, 10 is still a spot where you can get elite talent – and if you're picking that high in the first place, you could certainly use the help. A win-win like that seems like a pretty nice way to spend a Thursday night.

But that's the thing about Bears fans, though – they always find new, innovative ways to be miserable. For instance: their new coach Ben Johnson picked Michigan tight end Colston Loveland in major part because Loveland reminded him a lot of Lions' tight end Sam LaPorta – 2nd team All Pro tight end Sam LaPorta – and that is, apparently, bad?

Not only that, but their favorite former-backup-quaterback-turned-pundit has them questioning if they'll ever feel happiness again.

Chase Daniel has Bears fans down in the worst way after picking Colston Loveland

This is such a weird take from Daniel, but that doesn't mean I love it any less. It is genuinely hilarious that Bears fans were overwhelmingly on the same page about how great this video was, only for Daniel to come in and absolutely shatter their confidence with one (1) single tweet. I give Daniel a hard time for so shamelessly turning into a Hot Take artist, but credit where it's due: he's got a knack for it. I'd even go so far as saying (gulps) that he has a future in it.

Now Bears fans are mad that they didn't draft Tyler Warren and they did it without any juice whatsoever. And the best part? They didn't even realize how awkward everything was until he pointed it out. Now they're fighting about that, too. All he did was plant the idea and let Bears Twitter do the rest, like a modern day Inception. It's truly inspiring to see a master work his craft like this.
