Well, he's done it already. Brandon Cisse took all of five minutes to have us all fall in love.

The Green Bay Packers' newest cornerback is not only talented enough to start immediately in Jonathan Gannon's defense, but he has instantly become a fan favorite.

First, South Carolina shared a video of his emotional reaction to the pick.

Then, Cisse said that his girlfriend's family are all Packers fans, making the move more special for him.

"My girlfriend's family are huge Packers fans and from Wisconsin," Cisse said. "Big Packers fans, so, it's special."

Brandon Cisse wasted no time winning over Packers fans after getting drafted

It's always a cool moment to see players' dreams coming true in the NFL Draft. Cisse already had his Packers hat on as John Kuhn made the announcement, and he couldn't hold back the tears. That's what the draft is all about.

While he stopped short of saying he was a Packers fan, many people close to him are. We'll take it.

Beyond the emotion on draft day, there's so much to love about Cisse's potential. As is typical with the Packers' draft strategy, they have landed one of the best athletes at his position in the class. Cisse is still only 20 years old, turning 21 in July, which means he could hit his second contract at a younger age than some of the players getting drafted this weekend.

Cisse will add speed to the secondary, which is crucial for Gannon's system. He is also a willing run defender, which is an area the Packers needed to improve after their struggles at the back end of last season.

It's a significant move for the Packers, and a long time coming. It has been five years since they last invested a top-100 pick at the cornerback position. Cisse is well worth the wait.

Before we dive into the tape and talk about his potential impact in Green Bay, it was cool to see the emotional side of football and what it meant to him becoming a Packer.
