Packers fans will laugh as Aaron Rodgers offers sympathy for Caleb Williams, Bears in recent interview
By Ryan Heckman
While the future and current season outlook for the Green Bay Packers looks bright, the same cannot be said for a division rival.
Tuesday, the Chicago Bears decided to start making changes, once again, as they fired offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. It was the second offensive coordinator Chicago chose to fire in less than a calendar year.
Packers fans are already laughing at the chaos in Chicago, but of course, former Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers had to chime in on the matter. In his latest appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers was asked about the Waldron firing and, also, his thoughts on rookie quarterback Caleb Williams.
"Unfortunately, that's the nature of our league now, right? It's coaches and play-callers on both sides of the ball aren't making it through the season," Rodgers said.
Someone should tell him Matt LaFleur and Jordan Love appear to be just fine, for what it's worth.
"There's just not a lot of patience anymore in the league. It's, you know, 'get this guy out of here,'" he noted.
Once again, the Packers don't seem to have a problem in this area at the moment.
Just sayin'.
Aaron Rodgers tried putting a Band-Aid on Bears fans' wounds
When speaking about Williams, specifically, Rodgers did actually offer some sincere appreciation for the rookie passer:
"I don't know him, I know a little bit about him. He's strong enough mentally to get through this. He is, he is."

Then, he went on to surprise Packers fans by complimenting Chicago as a sports city, oddly enough.
"Chicago is a great sports town, they got great sports fans," he said.
Huh... we'll leave that one alone.
Rodgers went on to talk about the mentality of many around the league lately and how, when things aren't working, it's easier to jump to the conclusion that certain coaches need to go or even the idea that certain players must be benched.
He noted, again, there isn't a lot of patience left.
As far as Packers fans are concerned, though, this isn't a notion many should be worried about. After all, things are going just fine in Green Bay.
The Packers have yet another franchise quarterback. They've got one of the better head coaches in the league. And, there's a winning history here.
As for where Rodgers is at? His Jets are a whole lot closer to the Bears than they are the Packers, in terms of current trajectory. Whether or not you choose to laugh at that thought is up to you. But, we'll just sit here and enjoy the current state of affairs in Green Bay (and New York... and Chicago... ).
