The Green Bay Packers' final Week 6 injury report is a crowded one.
Nose tackle Jonathan Ford, cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, and receiver Skyy Moore have all been ruled out, leaving the Packers thin at each respective position.
That makes players with questionable tags all the more important to monitor. Cornerback Brandon Cisse (hip), defensive tackle Anthony Campbell (ankle), and wide receiver Savion Williams could all miss the game.
With the shape the Packers' depth chart is in, they could really use all three healthy.
Packers' injury questions are most concerning on defense
The glut of defensive line talent on the initial 53-man roster has deteriorated rapidly. No Warren Brinson, who's on injured reserve with a groin injury. No Javon Hargrave, who tore his Achilles last week against the Chicago Bears.
Campbell has been banged up most of the year and appeared in only one game. Now Ford is out against the Dallas Cowboys. Including Campbell, the Packers only have four defensive tackles on the active roster: him, plus Devonte Wyatt, Karl Brooks, and rookie Chris McClellan.
Jordon Riley, who is back in practice but not yet activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list, is listed as doubtful (Achilles).
The Packers need warm bodies they can count on. Is David Blay Jr., a practice-squad elevation candidate, up to the task? If Campbell sits, we may well find out.
At corner, the good news is that Keisean Nixon will suit up on Sunday, per head coach Matt LaFleur, after appearing on the injury report earlier in the week. If Cisse can't go, however, Green Bay will still be missing a starting cornerback. Enter Carrington Valentine.
Valentine vs. CeeDee Lamb or George Pickens sounds like a pre-Halloween horror show for Packers fans. It doesn't help having St-Juste unavailable as depth. Green Bay will also have to fill his role on special teams.
Especially against the Cowboys' potent passing attack, cornerback is probably the position of greatest concern as kickoff ticks closer.
Packers' receiver depth is also wearing thin
Still on injured reserve, Williams returned to practice in Week 5 but was not active on game day and remains questionable in Week 6. With Moore sidelined and the Packers already lacking any receiver depth to speak of, they could do with having Williams back in the mix.
On the flip side, who needs depth when Christian Watson and Matthew Golden are playing like the best receiver duo in the game?
If Green Bay can repeat its success against Chicago, when the offense relied almost exclusively on Jordan Love throwing to Watson, Golden, and tight end Tucker Kraft, going in with just four active wideouts might not be such a problem. Maybe Bo Melton or J. Michael Sturdivant can come down with a catch here and there.
The questionables on the offensive line will be a total non-issue except in case of further injury. Aaron Banks (knee/toe) shouldn't take Laken Tomlinson's job at left guard until he legitimately earns it. Jacob Monk (quad) might not play another snap this season, if the Packers can help it.
The optimistic spin on Cisse, Campbell, and Williams is that all three participated in limited fashion during Friday's practice. Fingers crossed for good health come Sunday.
