To say that Green Bay Packers fans have been frustrated with how Matthew Golden has been utilized early in his career would be an understatement. The first-round wide receiver received a ton of hype coming into his rookie year, but unfortunately, so far, he hasn't been the exclamation point for the offense that the team and fans were hoping he'd be.

While the Packers beat Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers soundly on Sunday night to move to 5-1-1, Golden had just three catches for a measly four yards in the win. Golden reacted to his forgettable night by deactivating his Instagram account, sending a possible message of frustration to anyone who noticed this action.

It's been hard not to notice Golden's potential rebellion, and that led to Kay Adams asking Jordan Love about his wide receiver. How can the Packers get Golden more involved?

Love's lengthy response touched on how he could be better about getting his wideout the ball, how many other mouths the Packers have to feed on offense, and how, when Golden's time to shine comes, he'll need to be ready.

"I think it's just early. We haven't found ways to get him the ball as much. Some of that is on me trying to find ways to get him the ball, some of it is just on the plays," Love said on Up & Adams. "We've got so many different receivers and weapons out there where it is hard to always get guys the ball. I always tell guys, some guys will have a great game one day, and some guys might have a great game another day."

"You've just got to stay in that right mindset, coming in, working every day, and finding ways to get better yourself. As a receiver, as a tight end, as a running back, you never know when your number is going to get called, so you've got to be ready to make plays when it does. But MG, we're going to keep finding ways to get him the ball, but he's going to have a great career, no doubt about it."

Matthew Golden just got a reality check from Jordan Love

Love wasn't wrong in anything he said to Adams here. It's only been seven games into Golden's NFL career, and the offense still has to figure out how they want to use him and get comfortable with having him out on the field while still trying to keep everyone else happy as well.

While Love was correct in what he said, Golden also has a right to be frustrated. The Packers spent a first-round pick on the Texas product, hoping that he could give them an added spark on offense.

So far, we haven't gotten to see much of anything from the former Longhorn, as he has just 21 catches for 253 yards in his seven games. He's yet to score a touchdown or put together a 100-yard receiving day.

Hopefully, this is as dramatic as this whole saga gets, and the Packers can find a way to get Golden more involved so that he's happy and his Instagram can be reactivated.
